Ummm....well.....

is this looking somewhat like a tie-dye pattern?

Sometimes you just hope you know what you're doing.

In starting a new mural yesterday, I reached a new level of pure exhaustion after I fought this 6ft scaffold out of my car and assembled it into this bedroom.

There will be a tie-dye pattern on the ceiling of this room after a month. ( I hope.)

My own steps in art with my computer

I'm putting these sketches up ( partly to remind myself of my own methods of doing them).  These were
first sketched out on paper. Then scanned into my PC, then edited with Adobe and Corel Painter.  Using a Wacom tablet.

I'm altering the right figure's arm here, (scaling and lowering it)

The red line shows where I was relaxing his pose.  That's completed in the images above & below this one.

I used the paint bucket tool in Corel and the chalk and blender tools here

The indian guy's arms are too short.  I'll fix that later.

I felt the need to somehow do a partial log of the many hands I've drawn.  Are hands not the hardest objects to draw?  There is one picture here that I didn't draw.  I took a photo and then colored in right on top of the picture using Corel.  Sometimes that's just the only thing you can do.

 This is from another graphic novel I'm  working on.

I'm enjoying this particular one.  If I had put the text in it then it would make this scene more understandable.  I didn't count the hours it took to complete this - but it was something like 10 hrs.

The glow-in-the-dark stuff had to be used sparingly on that coral reef mural.  You had to really gunk it on heavy to see any real difference.  And if you did that then it clouded the underlying bright acrylic paint.  That project is finished though.  And I've worked on a graphic novel that has turned into something that's just too long.
